‘Chauffeur’ is the latest single from Australian outfit Rum Jungle. It’s a driving track, propelled by insistent rhythms and thick, prominent bass lines. Above sits a whirlwind of catchy melodies, headlined by that infectious chorus. Lyrically, ‘Chauffeur’ is about being confident in yourself and trusting the process. They add: “Listening back to the very original voice memo, the first verse actually ended up being heaps close to what I mumbled over the out-of-tune chords the first time it was ever played, which is sick.
